APRIL FOOL'S DAY

As I woke up in spring, I'd see your face
Smiling back at me in a shapeless haze
just in a wink of an eye, you were gone
I came running down the hallway still none.

As the tide rose, a thunderous voice out stand,
Why do you always keep hurting this little hand?”
Could you stop it?” and it took me by surprise;
When the car says “broom broom broom”, it'll suffice

Came down the rain and washed the scorpions out;
There came the sun glowing yellow and bright.
Pink roses and purple daffodils sprout
Over the vast fields, near the river site.

The light constantly as I bound my way
Carrying this heavy load, I'm gonna fly away
Never refuse to be average always soar high”,
Never give up”, that's what he taught with a sigh.

Now, I'm lying in the bed staring the stars
continue dancing in the space of scars
While going along the sounds and rhythm of life;
Imagination's still the mother of all “F” ups.
